Mr. Yair Shamir is the Founding and Managing Partner of Catalyst Investments.
Mr. Shamir was elected as a member of the 19th Knesset (Israeli Parliament) and served as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development for the Government of Israel from 2013 until 2015.
Mr. Shamir serves as chairman of the National Road Safety Authority, chairman of the Shalem Collage, a research and educational institute in Jerusalem and chairman of the General Meeting of Ohalo College.
Mr. Shamir has formerly served as chairman of four government companies: Metropolitan Mass Transit System (NTA), Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), EL-AL Israel Airways and the National Roads Company.
Mr. Shamir has served as a member of numerous company boards within Catalyst’s investment portfolio – currently he serves as a board member of Tufin (NYSE: TUFN), Satixfy, and is chairman of the board of Xjet.
Mr Shamir also serves as a board member of Gvahim, a non-profit organization which assists qualified new immigrants from around the world in realizing their professional aspirations in Israel, and is a director at Rami Levi, a national Israeli retail chain.
From 2003-2007, Mr. Shamir was the Chairman of Shamir Optical Industry Ltd (NASDAQ: SHMR). From 1997-2006, Mr. Shamir served as the CEO and Chairman of VCON Telecommunications Ltd. From 2005-2013, he served as a board member of DSP Group Corporation (NASDAQ: DSPG). Mr Shamir was the CEO of Elite Food Industries, Ltd between the years of 1994 and 1995. From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Shamir served as Executive Vice President of the Challenge Fund L.P. Prior to this he was Executive VP of Scitex Corporation and General Manager of Scitex Israel from 1988 until 1993.
Mr Shamir was the Chairman of Gvahim from 2006 to 2013. He was also a Board Member of Mikveh Israel from 2010 until 2013. Mr. Shamir was also a member of the Board of Governors of the Technion University and sat on the executive committee of the Beer Sheva University from 1990 until 2013.
Mr. Shamir served in the Israeli Air Force as a pilot and commander from 1963-1988. During his term in the Air Force, Mr. Shamir attained the rank of colonel and served as head of the electronics department, the highest professional electronics position within the Israeli Air Force.
Mr. Shamir holds a B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Mr. Edouard Cukierman is the Founder and Managing Partner of Catalyst Investments and serves as the Chairman of Cukierman & Co. Investment House. Since its establishment in 1993, Cukierman & Co. Investment House has been engaged in more than €5.5 billion cross-border transactions across industries.
Prior to establishing and managing Catalyst Investments in 2000, Mr. Cukierman was the President and CEO of Astra Technological Investments, a Venture Capital Fund established in 1993, which was the first Israeli company to go public in Continental Europe.
Today, Edouard Cukierman serves as a board member of Tufin technologies, a leading Cyber security company in Israel that went public in April 2019 (NYSE: TUFN), and Dori Media Group in Israel.
Together with Dr. Daniel Rouach, Edouard Cukierman co-authored the book “Israel Valley: Le bouclier technologique de l’innovation” published in June 2013 and later translated into Chinese, Italian and in Portuguese (Brazil).
Mr. Cukierman served for many years as a reserve officer in the Crisis & Hostage Negotiation team and in the Spokesperson’s Unit of the IDF.
Mr. Cukierman holds an MBA from INSEAD, France and a B.Sc. from the Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology.

Mr. Harel brings over 20 years of management experience in various industries, including hi-tech, to the Catalyst management team. In 1990, he established Mashik-Research & Systems for Business Development Ltd, a consulting firm consisting of 40 management consultants and industrial engineers.
From 1993 until 1997, Boaz served as President and CEO of Leedan Holdings, a holding company with major stakes in approximately 25 companies.
From 1996 until 2001, he worked in Leedan’s NY office in order to develop these investments. Boaz Oversaw Acquisitions and new investments, and developed a reputation as a company turn-around specialist. Mr. Harel was also the Chairman of ICTS International, a public companies traded on Nasdaq. Mr. Harel holds a B.Sc. in Industrial and Management Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Lisya Bahar Manoah is Senior Partner at Catalyst 4 Fund.
Lisya has over 15 years of investment and management experience in private equity and global leading corporations, in particular in the context of raising capital, M&A transactions, and post-merger integration. Lisya invests in diversified technologies including smart mobility, ad-tech, fin-tech, life-science, SaaS, e-commerce, cyber-security, Industry 4-0 and agro/food-tech. She has held various managerial positions in global leading corporations including Keter Group (BC Partners), ADAMA and Magna Steyr (Nasdaq: MGA). Prior to joining Catalyst, Lisya led operational due diligence for Keter’s acquisition by BC Partners and managed post acquisition integration. Lisya earned Harvard executive education, MBA from Tel Aviv University and M.Sc from Vienna University of Technology and was selected 40under40 in Israel for 2020. Lisya is fluent in English, German, Turkish and Hebrew and has a strong international background.

Luc Muller is a Singapore/Tel Aviv based turn-around and international growth specialist. Mr. Muller serves as the Chairman and CEO of Enviro Invest Pte. Ltd, a Singapore-based portfolio company specializing in taking mostly controlling stakes in troubled or underperforming SMEs in the Environment and Sustainability sectors. He currently serves as CEO of Enviro Industries Pte. Ltd in Singapore, a portfolio company active in trading in the Environment and Plastics sectors with operations in Asia. He is also acting President of OTTO Environnement SAS in the Indian Ocean.
Luc Muller is the Chairman of Euro-Asian Management Advisory Pte. Ltd, a management consulting company specializing in helping companies develop their international business or restructure difficult operations. Euro-Asian is exclusively active at the Board level.
In Israel, Luc Muller is an executive Board Member of UBQ Materials Ltd and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Cukierman and Co. Investment House Ltd.
Luc Muller spent 24 years in the OTTO Group, a family-owned globally diversified industrial group and acted as its CEO from 2000 until December 2015. Mr. Muller led market entries, merger and acquisition as well as divestitures transactions and corporate restructurings globally in both manufacturing and services. Through the private equity arm of OTTO, he led various investments in venture capital and private equity in the U.S, Germany, France, Switzerland, Israel and Taiwan.
Luc Muller was a Board Member of Israeli private equity funds Catalyst I and Catalyst II.
He is an avid art supporter and is Vice-Chairman of The Glass Art Fund (non-profit, France).
Mr. Muller holds an MBA from INSEAD (France / Singapore), and a bachelor degree in finance and controlling from the European Business School of the University of Strasbourg, France (IECS).

Daniel Elfen brings over 20 years of experience in multinational companies and consumer goods industry, driving innovation & transformation from leadership positions. As CEO of Philip Morris International in Israel, Daniel led the organization through its internal and external transformation leveraging breakthrough product innovation combined with consumer-journey focus. Thanks to his understanding of the Israeli technology ecosystem, Daniel designed and launched an Innovation Outpost for Philip Morris International in Tel Aviv in 2017.
Prior to that, Daniel led Philip Morris’ market in Bulgaria and was the CFO of the group’s Madrid-based market cluster.
Aside from his corporate endeavors, Daniel experienced start-up leadership and strategic management consulting at Andersen.
Daniel is a passionate angel investor in Israeli startups and holds an MBA from INSEAD (France/Singapore), a BSc in Management & Economics from HEC Business School (University of Lausanne, Switzerland), and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Institute, USA).

Mr. Ariel Anati is a financial professional in the fields of corporate finance, valuation, strategy, and research.
He is an Investment Director at Catalyst Private Equity since 2021 and is involved in all aspects of analyzing incoming investment opportunities, exit strategies, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies. Focusing on growth/ late-stage investments in Israeli high-tech companies.
Prior to Catalyst, Mr. Anati was Head of Finance & Operations at Inlight, an innovation advisory firm dedicated to multinational industrial companies with turnover of above $150M.
Leading the corporate development activities of the firm in Israel and was involved with dozens of tech-industry investments, collaborations, and joint ventures.
Mr. Ariel Anati is a finance lecturer at Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) teaching the courses “Start-Up Economics” in the Zell Entrepreneurship program and the courses “International Finance” and “Quantitative Methods in Finance” in the Business Administration program.
Ariel is currently pursuing a dual executive MBA from both Columbia and London Business Schools and holds an M.A. in Financial Economics from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya), M.A. in Law Studies from Bar-Ilan University and a B.A. in Psychology & Communication, Magna Cum Laude, from the Israel Open University.

Before EY, Noga worked at KPMG’s Management Consulting department, supporting leading Israeli companies in developing their strategic and financial plans. Noga holds a BA in Accounting and Economics from Ben Gurion University and an MBA from Tel -Aviv University as well as a CPA license.

Annie Salem joined the Catalyst team in 2017 as an analyst.
Prior to joining Catalyst, Annie worked as a Research and Teacher Assistant for the Faculty of Communications and Faculty of Business Administration at the Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya, Israel. She co-authored the book “Intercultural Communication as a Clash of Civilizations” and has had other areas of research published in leading journals.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Communications and holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), both from the Interdisciplinary Center.
Annie was born in London, England and moved to pursue her higher education studies in Israel, where she now lives.

Mr. Roger Cukierman is the former Vice-President of the World Jewish Congress and of the European Jewish Congress, vice president of Alliance Israelite Universelle and director of the Claims Conference. Mr. Cukierman was until May 2007, the President of the CRIF (French Jewish Community). Mr. Cukierman was the former CEO of the Edmond de Rothschild Group as well as former CEO of the Israel General Bank and Israel 2000 Mutual Fund. Mr. Cukierman also served as president of the venture capital firm established by the Rothschild Group. His experience includes directorships of several international groups such as Club Med, Publicis, and the Association of French Bankers. Mr. Cukierman holds a doctorate degree in economics from the Paris University, a bachelor’s in law, and the ESCP – European School of Management- diploma in business administration. He is also the author of The Capital in the Japanese Economy.

Ms. Fan has over 17 years’ experience in direct investment, capital raising and investment banking serving corporate clients in Greater China region as well as multinationals. Prior to joining CEL, Ms. Fan has held various positions with increasing responsibility at multinational investment banks.
Ms. Fan holds a BA and a BS from Tsinghua University and an MA from the University of Oxford.

Antony Leung, former Financial Secretary of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, is Group CEO of Nan Fung Group, a leading regional conglomerate focusing on property & investment businesses. He is also Independent Non-Executive Director of China Merchants Bank, Chairman of charity organizations Heifer International Hong Kong and Food Angel, and Chairman of Harvard Business School Association of Hong Kong.
Mr. Leung has extensive experience in financial services, including Chairman of Greater China of Blackstone, Chairman of Asia of JP Morgan Chase, Asia Head of Citi Private Bank, Regional Head of Citi Investment Bank, Treasury and Greater China. In addition, he was independent director of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Mobile (Hong Kong) Limited, American International Assurance (Hong Kong) Limited, and international advisory board member of China Development Bank. Dr. Lee George Lam holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Sciences, a Master of Science in Systems Science, and a Master of Business Administration, all from the University of Ottawa in Canada, a Post-graduate Diploma in Public Administration from Carleton University in Canada, a Post-graduate Diploma in English and Hong Kong Law and a Bachelor of Law (Hons) from Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom, a PCLL in law from the City University of Hong Kong, a Certificate in Professional Accountancy from the School of Continuing and Professional Studies of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a LLM in law from the University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom, a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Public Administration from The University of Hong Kong.
Dr. Lam has over 30 years of multinational general management, management consulting, corporate governance, investment banking, direct investment and investment fund management experience. Dr. Lam is Chairman of Indochina, Myanmar and Thailand of Macquarie Capital (an international investment bank from Australia). He serves on the board of several publicly-listed companies and investment funds in the Asia Pacific region.

Mr. Adler is a leading partner of the Corporate Group at the renowned UK law firm Mishcon de Reya in London. Joel has a wide range of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity transactional work and IPOs on the London Stock Exchange.
He specializes in advising international entrepreneurs and corporations in international transactions involving a number of overseas jurisdictions in a variety of business sectors and is known for his lateral solution orientated thinking.
He has established a wide network of professional and business relationships in the USA, Europe and Israel. Mr. Adler received an LL.B. in Israel and a Master’s Degree in Law at London University.

Christiaan de Lint is a partner and co-founder of Headway Capital Partners, a London based firm which invests in private equity secondaries in Europe and the US. Headway provides liquidity to institutions and individuals seeking an exit from their private equity investments, including both limited partnership interests and portfolios of direct investments. Headway focuses on small to medium sized deals and more complex situations.
Prior to co-founding Headway in early 2004, Christiaan was part of the investment team at Coller Capital, one of the largest players in the private equity secondaries market where he worked since early 1999. Prior to Coller Capital, Christiaan worked in the Alternative Investment Strategies and Corporate Banking divisions of Citibank in London and New York.
Christiaan received a BA in Economics and an MBA from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Christiaan is Swiss-Dutch and is a CFA Charter-holder.

Mr. Dassault is the Vice President of the GIMD (Groupe Industriel Marcel Dassault). Within the family, he is in charge of the diversification of the group’s activities and of its investments. He is also the ambassador of the group abroad. He also organized the acquisition of Château La Fleur.
In addition to wine and real estate investments, Mr. Dassault and his father are also involved in the development of a technically high performing electric car, in cooperation with Electricité de France (EDF – France’s main Electricity Operator) and the Heuliez group to improve urban environment and fight urban pollution.
